In late January, I set off on a budget-friendly solo trip to Jibhi and Shoja, looking for a peaceful getaway amidst the mountains. The entire journey, spanning 4 nights and 3 days (plus 2 days of travel), cost under 10k, making it an economical yet fulfilling adventure. The trip was focused on relaxation, photography, and trekking near Jalori Pass.
1. Day 1: Journey from Delhi to Jibhi
I started my ride from Delhi to Jibhi on my bike, covering nearly 11 hours of travel. The first 400 km were smooth, but the last 80-90 km had rough mountainous roads due to heavy rain and snow. Upon reaching, I checked into Whoopers Hostel, but my experience there was disappointing due to subpar facilities. I spent the evening exploring local eateries and unwinding before calling it a night.
2. Day 2: Raghupur Fort Trek

I shifted to Rustic Hostel, which had better dorms and washrooms. After a local breakfast, I rode to Jalori Pass to start the Raghupur Fort Trek. The trek took about 4 hours, including rest stops and photography. The views were breathtaking, and the weather was perfect. This trek was the highlight of the day. In the evening, I returned to the hostel, relaxed, and enjoyed dinner in the local market.
3. Day 3: Serolsar Lake Trek
Another early start to Jalori Pass, this time for the Serolsar Lake Trek. The peaceful morning trek took about 5-6 hours, including breaks and photography. The serene lake and surrounding beauty made it a worthwhile experience. After completing the trek, I returned to the hostel, spent the evening relaxing, and had dinner at a cozy cafe.

4. Day 4: Leisure & Exploring Jibhi

Since I had a long ride back to Delhi the next day, I dedicated this day to relaxation and light exploration. I visited Jibhi Waterfall and Mini Thailand, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. For lunch, I savored momos and siddu at a local eatery. Later, I walked around the market, bought souvenirs, and indulged in street snacks. After an early night, I started my ride back to Delhi at 5-6 AM the next morning.
